It protects and preserves a marine eco-system with living, fish-bejeweled coral reefs, mangrove shorelines, a shallow bay, and emerald islands. Dante Fascell Visitor Center (open 9am-5pm) houses a museum, art gallery, auditorium/environmental and educational discovery room.
